One of these A-frames was sitting in my friend's shed and she was happy to unload it. (Thanks Brenda!) It was for some other business so I peeled off the lettering, cleaned it up and painted it with left over paint from the studio ceiling, and got some chalkboard paint from around the corner at Powell Paint. (Buy local!) I just free formed the shapes of the chalkboard areas.
I liked how it looked so much that I cut a remnant of plywood from the studio construction and made another one. Now there's one at the corner where we actually meet for the walks, and another one out in front of my house for announcements about walks, crafty nights and more.
