I've got a little contest going on to see who can come up with the opening date. The space might not be completely finished, but I'm talking interior painted, toilet plumbed, stairs up and flooring down. Feel free to place your bets in the comments below. I'll have some prizes too!
Here are some pictures of the latest phases.
- We're putting metal siding on most of the building. It's super low maintenance and low waste. Anything left over can be repurposed or recycled. For the wall around the front door and the south wall we're using reclaimed wood siding from the deconstructed garage.
- The wiring is in so we have temporary lights and outlets.
- The insulation is going in today. These guys are speedy but doing a good job. We went with Ecobatt insulation.
