I don't buy it

I'm sorry, but I just gotta start another category of posts: I'm entitling them "I don't buy it." As in I literally won't spend the money on said item(s) or I'm amazed that people fall for it. And honest, I'm not trying to piss off anyone, just trying to encourage us all to think before we buy, especially when so often we can do it ourselves. But if glue guns scare you and you have more money than time, by all means have at it!

Here's my first example. Cute little Hens and Chicks as Christmas ornaments. Seems like a great lil' DIY project, don't you think? But wait. Don't bother. You can buy three of them for a mere $55! Maybe I'm missing something and this is like a pyramid scheme. First, order your "ornaments". Following Christmas, you plant them in your yard and watch them spread. Then dig them up and rip off your friends and neighbors next holiday season.

I evidently am sitting on a goldmine. I have more friggin' Hens and Chicks than you can shake a stick at. Happy holidays!

when you first started describing this (before I got to the picture) I was envisioning a tiny hanging terrarium for $55. But for 1 tiny plant hanging from what appears to be a PAPERCLIP- give me a *#@%ing break!

Well. In al honesty, you do get 3 for $55. Still silly.

HA!! I don't buy it either! Thanks for the warning. Seriously, the things people will spend their money on really amazes me too. I know there are some people who are OBSESSED with ornaments, but still....

Pretty odd, eh, Gina?! I might have to make some of these little guys from the supply my yard. I figure they're practically free...I still have to pay for 3 paperclips! ;-) Thanks for stopping by!

I'm not putting all my chicks in one basket either!

Gosh, people are gullible. Or something.
